For its 15th edition, the Jazz & Garonne Festival continues along its path of cultural cross-pollination between jazz and world music.
Every form of artistic or sporting expression is an essential driving force that helps keep a society in good health. These gatherings are necessary. They keep weaving and creating connections with audiences, residents, children and communities.
Our society is undergoing profound change, and our country’s budgetary priorities are one of its effects on culture. Faced with this reality, we — the artists, the associations, the venues — are deploying our creativity to sustain our work, more convinced than ever that live performance is a necessity for our society.
Culture is made within our region, with the support of its partners, public and private, alongside whom we build our initiatives and reinvent a culture rooted in citizenship.
With its 2025 programme, Jazz & Garonne is making a wager on a diverse artistic offering built around the discovery of European artists, banking on the curiosity of a loyal audience that grows larger and more present every year.
Culture, like sport, offers spaces for sharing, for encounter, for respect. They must be preserved. They are indispensable and serve the public good.
