Premier prix de son cursus au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Matthieu Chazarenc, batteur de jazz de renommée, pose ses valises dans le Lot et Garonne. Après avoir accompagné Olivia Ruiz et Charles Aznavour, il sort son tout premier album Canto qu’il vient nous présenter cette semaine avec un équipage tout neuf : Christophe Wallemme (contrebassiste), Sylvain Gontard (bugle) et Laurent Derache (accordéon). Une bande qui promet un concert haut en couleurs !

Matthieu Chazarenc finally dares to affirm his desire of adventure in a personal album that describes perfectly his current feelings. To achieve this, he surrounded himself with a brand new team: Christophe Wallemme, great master of double bass, Sylvain Gontard, fine stylist of the bugle and the young Laurent Derache on accordion who gives here a free and lyrical new breath to the « chills box”.
