En octobre 2013 Bénédicte GERIN peintre invite Eric SÉVA lors d’une exposition des Métiers d’Art et de Créations au Carrousel du Louvre. Depuis cette rencontre a trouvé un prolongement naturel donnant lieu à des performances live en double impro : « Jazz Art ». Bénédicte se laisse emporter dans une histoire et la musique, à son tour, s’invite dans ses tableaux, tandis que se répondent lignes, couleurs, notes et rythmes. Éric improvisateur lance le thème, Bénédicte prépare ses encres, pour mieux lui répondre en tons réels dans une conversation où chaque moment déclenche le suivant, jusqu’à la dernière touche d’une œuvre unique. In October 2013 Bénédicte GERIN, painter, invites Eric SÉVA during an exhibition of Métiers d’Art et de Créations at the Carrousel du Louvre. This encounter has since found a natural extension leading to live performances in a two-way impro: « Jazz Art ». Bénédicte gets carried away in a story, and the music, in turn, invites itself into her paintings while lines, colors, notes and rhythms respond to each other.
